Mobius

Don, a salesman at Piranha Powersports, had his life altered when he deviated from the Sacred Timeline. He was abducted by He Who Remains and had his memories erased. Now, known as Mobius M. Mobius, he works as an analyst at the Time Variance Authority (TVA). Mobius specializes in investigating and analyzing dangerous time criminals. He recruited a Variant of Loki to help him track down Sylvie Laufeydottir, another Loki Variant who was attacking the TVA. Initially hesitant, Mobius and Loki formed an uneasy friendship. However, when the Loki Variants escaped to Lamentis-1, Mobius managed to capture them. But upon discovering the truth about the TVA’s deception, Mobius joined forces with the Variants. Eventually, they were all pruned by Ravonna Renslayer’s Minutemen and sent to the Void. After escaping, Mobius confronted Renslayer and witnessed the fracture of the Sacred Timeline, leading to the creation of multiple timelines within the Multiverse.

In the mission to repair the Temporal Loom, Mobius tracked down Renslayer and Miss Minutes in 1893. This search led them to Victor Timely, a variant of He Who Remains, whose temporal aura was needed for the repairs. Mobius brought Timely into the TVA. However, Loki decided to destroy the Loom completely, taking control of the timeline himself. Mobius, now with the freedom to choose his own path, decided to leave the TVA and experience the world he had protected for so long.

Hunter B-15

Hunter B-15, originally known as Verity Willis, was a prominent soldier within the Time Variance Authority (TVA). During a mission, she apprehended Loki and formed an uneasy alliance with him to locate another variant of Loki. Meanwhile, B-15 found herself entangled in conflicts with Ravonna Renslayer, Miss Minutes, and the overwhelming power of the Temporal Loom as the Multiverse continued to expand. Eventually, Loki destroyed the Loom, taking on its responsibilities and becoming lost in time. This pivotal moment led B-15 and the TVA on a new path, allowing the Multiverse to flourish.

Sylvie

Sylvie Laufeydottir, originally known as Loki Laufeydottir, is an Asgardian princess who caused a significant disruption in the timeline as a child and escaped the Time Variance Authority (TVA). Seeking revenge against the TVA and the Time-Keepers, Sylvie eluded capture by hiding throughout various timelines. Just as her plan was about to succeed, she encountered another variant of Loki, and they reluctantly formed an alliance. Together, they uncovered the lies and manipulations of the TVA and discovered that the Time-Keepers were imposters.

With Loki as her only ally, Sylvie followed him into the mysterious Void, where they confronted the enigmatic figure known as He Who Remains, the creator of the TVA. Despite Loki’s warnings, Sylvie sought her long-awaited revenge and killed He Who Remains, resulting in the expansion of the Multiverse.

After completing her mission, Sylvie retreated to a new branch of the timeline, hoping to live a peaceful existence. However, she was compelled to intervene once again when she discovered a threat posed by Dox and her followers, who were attempting to prune the newly formed branches. In her journey, Sylvie encountered Victor Timely, a variant of He Who Remains, and contemplated killing him but ultimately chose to spare him.

At the urging of Loki, Sylvie returned to the TVA, witnessing their efforts to salvage the Temporal Loom. Ultimately, Loki decided to destroy the Loom and manually weave the branches together at the End of Time, providing an opportunity to fight for the free Multiverse Sylvie had envisioned.

Victor Timely

Professor Victor Timely, a brilliant scientist and inventor, received a copy of the Time Variance Authority Official Handbook from Ravonna Renslayer and Miss Minutes when he was young. This gift enabled him to develop futuristic technology, although limited resources during the 19th Century hindered its full success. In his adult years, Renslayer and Miss Minutes approached Timely, enlightening him about the true nature of the Time Variance Authority and their plan for him to succeed He Who Remains in leading the organization. However, Timely ultimately betrayed them. As a result, Loki brought him to the TVA Office to fix a fully functional Temporal Loom. Despite numerous failed attempts and deaths reversed through Time Slipping, Timely witnessed Loki destroy the Loom and restore order to the Multiverse. This allowed him to survive and co-author a second edition of the TVA guidebook with Ouroboros.

Ouroboros

Ouroboros, originally known as A.D. Doug, is a writer and scientist who deviated from the designated timeline, leading to his abduction by He Who Remains. As a result, his memory was erased, and he became a Time Variance Authority (TVA) agent. Assigned to the Repairs and Advancement department, he had no recollection of his past life or his status as a Variant. Over the years, Ouroboros worked diligently within the TVA, earning the nickname O.B. Alongside Loki, he played a crucial role in halting Time Slipping and attempting to repair the Temporal Loom to accommodate the multitude of timeline branches emerging from the Multiverse.

Casey, also known as Frank Lee Morris, is a member of the Time Variance Authority (TVA). He plays a role within the organization by collecting and organizing evidence as part of his bureaucratic duties.

Miss Minutes

Miss Minutes, an artificial intelligence designed by He Who Remains, serves as an observer and assistant to the Time Variance Authority (TVA). Acting as the animated mascot of the TVA, she disseminates the organization’s propaganda to its employees and Variants. Additionally, she acts as a go-between for He Who Remains and Ravonna Renslayer. However, Miss Minutes was reprogrammed by Ouroboros to ensure her loyalty and prevent her from opposing their plans. Currently, she assists the TVA in her new, rebooted state.

Ravonna Renslayer

Rebecca Tourminet, a Variant, was transformed into Ravonna Lexus Renslayer, the trusted ally of He Who Remains. Her memories were eventually erased by He Who Remains, and she became a Judge at the Time Variance Authority (TVA), oblivious to her true identity. Renslayer initially sentenced Loki, who had caused a disruption in the Sacred Timeline, to be pruned. However, Mobius M. Mobius recruited Loki to assist in tracking down Sylvie Laufeydottir. As the case progressed, revealing the truth about the TVA, Renslayer staunchly defended the organization, even betraying Mobius and banishing both him and Loki to the Void. When Mobius returned and sought to dismantle the TVA, Renslayer intervened, choosing to pursue her own quest for freedom and autonomy.

He Who Remains

Nathaniel Richards, a scientist from the 31st Century, encountered multiple versions of himself and alternate universes. Some of these versions sought to conquer other realities, leading to a Multiversal War. To end the conflict, Nathaniel weaponized Alioth. Taking on the name He Who Remains, he established the Time Variance Authority (TVA) to protect the Sacred Timeline and prevent the resurgence of his alternate selves. Residing at the Citadel at the End of Time for countless years, He Who Remains planned for Loki and Sylvie Laufeydottir to take over the leadership of the TVA. However, Sylvie killed him, causing the Multiverse to fracture and Nathaniel’s Variants to reappear.
